Though it has a few negative aspects, WinAVI Video Converter
is overall a nice tool for converting video clips to
an assortment of formats. The attractive, modern interface
features large, clearly labeled icons, so you probably
won't have to dig through the menus very often. Though
you can convert a variety of file types to WMV, AVI,
MPEG, and RM, we wished you could transform RM files
into other types. Other notable pluses include a built-in
DVD-burning utility, a batch-conversion tool, and a
preview pane. Despite the program's limited RM-conversion
skills, we still think WinAVI Video Converter is an
excellent pick for most users who don't need that particular
function.

Great stuff.
THE ONLY program i have found that actually works and
is easy to use.
Can conver a avi to a avi whitout problem.
I needed this since my DVD player sometimes can't play
the movies i download but with some convertion it works
:D

Very very good, Ive try lots of
avi to dvd software this is the fastest and the quality
is good as TMPGenc Plus which takes 5times as long.
and it has good working aspect ratio and scaling options

Il est au TOP, il converti même le format dvr-ms de notre ami Bill, et en plus il est d'une rapidité exceptionnelle. A acheter les yeux fermés.

Je viens de l'essayer et il est vraiment TOP ...
Qualité de conversion et surtout rapidité de celle-ci ainsi que de la gravure avec possibilité de choisir le ration 16/9 ou 4/3
très facile d'emploi à mon avis c'est LA référence

Rapide et simple d'utilisation. Il a le bon goût de respecter les proportions d'origine de la video (contrairement à Videora Ipod converter)ce qui est appréciable quand on regarde ensuite ces vidéos sur la télé. Par contre, un mauvais parametrage peut conduire à des fichiers dont la taille est bien plus importante que l'originale. Mais à part ça, que du bon !

Serieusement le plus performant, hyper facile d'emploi, en français, et extremement rapide comparé aux autres, conversion AVI en DVD pour un film de 1H45 j'ai mis 30 minutes. C'est le top du top ce logiciel.

Je suis assez épaté de constater que le son qui en ressort est vraiment sympa (5.1). Il est vrai que l'image n'est pas grande, mais hormis les reflets un peu pénibles de l'écran IPod, les films sont tout à fait "Regardables".
